Help the bug reach the food!

Here’s our blue bug at the south west of an 8-by-8-step yard.  He spots food on the very opposite end of the yard, in the north east.   He can only move one step north or one step east at a time.  He will not move west or south at any time.  How many unique paths are available to the bug until it reaches the food?
